Commerce Awarded $47.5 Million Federal Grant For Critical Infrastructure Improvements
Commerce’s Southeastern Montana Transmission Siting and Economic Development Initiative will sub-grant funding to Rosebud, Custer and Fallon Counties and the Northern Cheyenne Tribe to help mitigate the impact of construction of the North Plains Connector transmission line. Eligible projects will include infrastructure updates, such as roads, water, sewers; emergency services like ambulances and fire halls; and other projects related to workforce and infrastructure development.
Montana to receive $47M grant to fund infrastructure projects in SE Montana
The Montana Department of Commerce is set to receive $47.5 million in federal grant money that Rosebud, Custer, and Fallon counties, along with the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, will be able to apply for to fund infrastructure projects such as the build-out of electrical transmission lines takes shape in coming years.
Bowman & Slope County Community Foundation announces spring grant recipient
